They are people like you and me.
Sons and daughters, moms and dads. Increasingly, they are leaving their villages and migrating to urban centers in hopes of improving their way of life instead of just trying to get by. They have gods, habits, best friends, and hobbies.
Some are secular, others are religious. They worship Allah in mosques, the mosaic of deities and gods in Hindu temples, or ancestors and spirits in household or community shrines.
Cities of hundreds of thousands, even millions—with only a scattering of small bible study churches, if anything. Remote villages of dozens and hundreds not knowing a single Christ-follower.
The unreached have little to no access to the story and person of Jesus. No churches. No followers of Jesus. No missionaries. Yet.

And they live as immigrants and refugees in international cities across the world. They are simultaneously far and near. And their communities live without a tangible, in-person follower of Jesus.

WHERE DO THEY LIVE?
They live with and around extended family in urban apartments and rural cabins. They live in both developing and undeveloped countries, many on less than $2 per day.
They live in countries without the liberties that are enjoyed in the west—to gather publicly for religious reasons, to speak without fear of backlash. They live in the imaginary window aptly named the 10/40 Window.
